Creating Choral Sound – Victoria Meredith

The goal of this session is to offer conductors the tools to create a beautiful and uniform ensemble sound while at the same time placing individual singers where they can sing with maximum freedom and make their own vocally healthy contributions to the music. Participants will work with 3 tools for creating the choral sound they want to achieve: placement of singers, matching vowel colours, and expressive word stress.
